Historical site Marguerite-Bourgeoys
Come create a paper sculpture with Dominique Lafortune, grandson of Claude Lafortune.
Workshop lasting 2 h 30 at 1 p.m. in FRENCH September 17, October 22 and November 19, 2023.
The equipment will be provided on site.
Your participation gives you access to the visit of the museum!

The Meet Marguerite! exhibition is an invitation to rediscover the life and work of Marguerite Bourgeoys, a key figure in Quebec and Canadian history, by means of an innovative and original museographic approach.

Noah's ark by Claude Lafortune
Inspired by Noah's Ark, a very ancient story, both terrible and hopeful, the artist and late Claude Lafortune created a small group of humans and animals saved from a great flood by God... This myth has marked the imagination all over the world, told by different religious and cultural traditions. Relive this legendary tale by following the trail of characters and animals made by a virtuoso of paper sculpture.

You can enjoy free access on the first Sunday of each month in our museum institution, if you live in Quebec.
Enjoy an all-new experience as you enjoy a thematic visit, including an archaeological site* and an 18th - century stone vault. Learn about the personal saga of Montréal’s first teacher, her energy and her daring.

On the last Sunday of every month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the museum offers a free DIY activity on the theme of Noah's Ark.
