Exploring Ontario Street with the porteuses d'échos
Would you like to take part in a museum visit that's out of the ordinary? Join us for a unique and immersive experience in the company of Les porteuses d'échos. Start with a guided tour of the exhibition Crossroads and Culture : Ontario Street in the Faubourgs, led by a cultural mediator from the Écomusée du fier monde. You'll then be invited to share your own stories, impressions and memories, which will feed into the performance of the porteuses d'échos. Throughout their interactive theater show, the performers will bring your experiences to life, taking you on a journey through time, from past to present!
Les porteuses d'échos
Les porteuses d'échos is an NPO whose mission is to offer marginalized populations a space for experimentation, support and transformation through the living arts. The Playback theater collective is made up of 6 women from a variety of backgrounds. Their interventions aim to create a safe place of exchange where everyone feels seen and accepted. Creating such a space in the community solidifies the social net, builds bridges and opens up dialogue between cultures and generations.
