Head in the Clouds | Observe and draw
*Workshops are offered in French only.
As part of the “Head in the Clouds” program, presented with the financial support of SDC Vieux-Montréal, we invite you to climb to the top of the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours chapel for a unique drawing workshop. From our belvedere, enjoy a spectacular 360° view of the city and river and let yourself be inspired!
These workshops are led by Romain Blais, an artist who nurtures his passion for illustration and comics, focusing on narrative, movement, precision of detail and atmosphere.
Morning program:
7:45 am: Doors open
8:00 am: Welcome at the chapel belvedere (allow for 70 steps - washrooms are accessible on the first floor)
8:10 am to 8:25 am: Presentation of Romain Blais' work
8:25 am to 10:00 am: Drawing workshop
10:00 am: End of activity (a visit to the museum will be offered at a 20% discount, if you wish).
Please note:
- The workshop is reserved for people aged 18 and over, who are able to climb the 70 steps leading to the belvedere.
- All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own pencils or notebooks if you prefer to use your own tools.
- In the event of rain at any of the workshops, they will resume on Sunday August 31 at the same time.
